Programme for January 2019 to May 2019

The society meets most Tuesdays from the beginning of September to the end of April. The only break is for two weeks at Christmas.

New members are always welcome simply turn up on the night or contact the club via our contact page.


January 2019

Date Programme

Presenter:  Dianne Owen – “The Next Step”.  As a photographer dedicated to making Fine Art Prints for over 20 Years. Diane believes choosing the right paper is very important as it, adds the final touch to any image.  

The Next Step is showcasing a selection of Fine Art Papers with her prints, some of which are passed round during her talk.  Further information may be found at Dianne Owen’s website.

22nd Members Evening: Presentation (by Carol Sparkes) and a quiz (by Margaret Lawless)
29th Bite size talk and Project Evening – ‘Water’.

12th L&CPU – Print Portfolio  (Interactive Judging).
19th Monthly Club Competition – PDI’s and Prints.
26th Members Evening: Bite size talk followed by ‘Show and Tell’ (4 PDI’s – describe what, how, why and settings)


March 2019

5th Presenter: Adrian McGarry – “Mobile Phone Photography”.  Adrian is an iPhone Photographer and iPad Creative. Born and raised in Manchester, he now lives in North Wales, enjoying coastal living and endless photo opportunities from dramatic mountains, towering waterfalls and beautiful countryside.

April 2019

2nd Members Evening:  Bite size talk followed by Project ‘The Character of Knutsford’.
9th Presenter: Justin Garner – “Macro Photography”.   Justin states on his website that photography is about creating high quality images, expressing himself, constantly learning, sharing his images, knowledge and skills with others and constantly striving to perfect  his art. From an early age he had a fascination in natural history, birds in particular. This led him in to photographing and documenting nature.  He saw the potential and decided to pursue it seriously 7 years ago.
