2nd August 2014. Knutsford Town Mayor, Neil Forbes and Mayoress, Jacquelyn Forbes, officially open the Knutsford Photographic Society Annual Print Exhibition in the Library. In attendance are Trevor Hosking (President) and Peter Spooner (Exhibition Organiser) from KPS.
KPS is a friendly, enthusiastic group of photographers who will have a go at most anything - but we don’t always take ourselves too seriously. The club's precise origins are vague, however we do know it went through a revival after WWII and is still going strong some 60+ years later.
The general idea is for anyone with an interest in photography to meet a bunch of like-minded people once a week throughout most of the year. We encourage everyone from happy snappers to hardened long-term photograhers. So why not come along and see what others are doing or may be able to help you with? The emphasis here is on enjoyment!
Annual Subscription: £35
Members' meeting charge: £1 per meeting
Guests' meeting charge: £2 per meeting
Potential new members are welcome to attend two meetings free of charge before deciding to join. Any subsequent meeting without joining the Society is a charge of £2 per visit.
